Sharon (Shay) Uwaibi

Yoga teacher

I am a yoga teacher, specialising in vinyasa flow, pranayama (breathwork) and meditation. Through conscious explorations of mind, body, and breath, additionally, I am trained in inclusive and accessible yoga. I also run monthly events for Black, Brown, and People of Colour (BPOC) and other workshops/events. I love teaching yoga to everyone, with focus on marginalised groups.

What I love most about yoga is its ability to create space, not just physically but mentally and emotionally. I offer a variety of classes and workshops, which blend strength and flow, encouraging self awareness and presence on the mat. Additionally, I host wellbeing events and lead a monthly yoga community space (BPOC Yoga Link) for Black, Brown and people of colour to have a safe space to explore movement, philosophy and connect with others.

What I love the most about my work?

My favourite thing about teaching is connecting with others and always being a student as I am always learning, curious and enthusiastic all that teaching offers, both to myself and students.
