Rosanna (Rosie) Callear

Yoga teacher & breathwork facilitator

Rosie is a Yoga teacher from South London. She has been practicing Yoga for more than a decade. In 2020 she began her journey as a teacher when undertaking a 200-hour Ashtanga Vinyasa YTT in London.

Since then she has been teaching creative and accessible Yoga in wellbeing and mental health spaces. In 2023 she was drawn to travel to South India to complete an additional 300 hour training in Vinyasa and Yin. Rosie draws inspiration from Ashtanga, Vinyasa and Yin styles, integrating a flowing sequence of postures and breath to release stress and tension.

She aims to harness and balance the opposite energies of Yin (cooling/stillness) and Yang (fire) in her teaching. She enjoys guiding 'Yinyasa', a mix of Vinyasa and Yin with a focus on breath awareness. Rosie believes that Pranayama (breathwork) and meditation are at the heart of Yoga, these techniques are therefore paramount to her offering.

Rosie runs online Breathwork courses and believes in the power of the breath to build mental strength and untangle emotional blocks. She has completed a Yoga therapy for PTSD course and provides trauma sensitive Yoga as a practice for self-regulation and healing.

Rosie's approach is influenced by her many years working in mental health services as a nurse. She has a passion for learning about alternative approaches to healing and has lots of experience offering Yoga to those with mental health difficulties such as those with Psychosis and Eating disorders.

Let's grow and glow together.

Breathwork and Yin: Nourishment for the winter months workshop

Winter is a perfect time to start to create a new habit for wellbeing. I find it is especially important to find supportive practices during the colder months, to boost the spirits and fight the darkness. This includes a gentle expanding Yin practice and breathwork techniques for beginners that can help with stress management and self-soothing.
